By accessing or using Interrogo (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Interrogo is an AI-guided story development platform for screenwriters and storytellers. The Service provides AI-powered discovery interviews, character and relationship mapping, beat sheet tools, world-building editors, story audit analysis, and a professional screenplay editor. The AI guides your creative process by asking questions — it does not write story content for you.
You must create an account to use the Service. You may sign in using Google OAuth or email/password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Access to the Service requires a paid subscription at $39.99 per month. All features are included in a single plan with no feature gates or upsells. Prices are in US dollars and may be changed with 30 days' notice.
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Your subscription will automatically renew each month until canceled. You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Subscription option in your account menu. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase. Contact us at support@interrogo.app to request a refund.
You retain full ownership of all story content you create using the Service. This includes interview answers, character profiles, beat sheets, world-building notes, screenplays, and any other creative work. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This includes sending your content to AI providers for processing interview questions and story analysis. This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding (but not your content), is owned by Interrogo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

We make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and integrity of your data. However, we recommend that you regularly export your work using the built-in export features (Fountain, FDX, PDF, DOCX). We are not liable for data loss due to technical failures, account deletion, or service discontinuation.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase and is subject to Google's infrastructure reliability. We do not provide independent backup guarantees.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTERROGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF CREATIVE WORK.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE UNINTERRUPTED, OR BE ERROR-FREE.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to allow you to export your data before account deletion, unless the termination is due to abuse or illegal activity.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Your subscription will be canceled and your data will be deleted within 30 days of your request.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
